I Found This Site By Accident

I stumbled on it three or four months ago, and thought it looked like a good place for me to write my long opinionated essays on controversial subjects -- that don't fit on Twitter and Facebook. I did not realize that, for some reason, SW attracts more perverts than any social media platform I have encountered. But I still enjoy it -- not every day, but once in a while. I do find that it is a bit intoxicating -- I often (like right now) find myself wasting a whole lot more time than I planned or should. :)

I like it because if you take the time to filter out all the pervs and really odd people there is enough of a core of people with a similar viewpoint that you can have at rue dialogue on events.

It has given me some help to know I'm not the only traditional mom in the world and I've met some people I'd consider internet friends here too. It's a nice place to share and vent as most of my day is spent at home with my kids.

I tell my kids I'm not the only strict mom in the world too!
