why facebook is so dead now

i have just 162 friends on facebook and every time i log in now, which is not often, no one is hardly posting anything, and i wonder where people have gone? i only log into facebook once in a blue moon now.

I saw a news article saying the AI is messing it up and people are getting banned for crazy stuff or something like that. Most social media is dying. It’s a sea of memes and fake messy bots. AI is like adding fuel to a fire and accelerating it. Views are down and active users are dropping to very low levels. People are calling it getting “Zucked”

@BurningBright i see AI is getting to be a real problem on the internet, i refuse to engage with it, but i find it concerning as i still use social media a lot really.
