Marketplace games
I have been spending too much time on marketplace lately. Can find some amazing deals on there.
It kind of reminds me of the old ebay days when people would list things for 50 cents with no reserve and 500 people would start bidding on it.
Sometimes you could find a real deal that nobody noticed and you wait until the last minute and then bid on it. I got lots of cool things from it, but lately ebay is just all high prices and nobody bids on anything. It is all just buy-it-now if you don't care about being ripped off.
Marketplace though, people have things that are sitting around in closets for years and they just want it gone, so they put it up for 50 bucks or something and it's worth 500. I see lots of free things that look mint.
Just last week I gave away a baby carriage that had been travelling around the neighbourhood with no owner for a few weeks. A lady not far away said she really needed it and I was happy to provide it.
One thing that really annoys me about marketplace though are the people that have something to sell, but are afraid to give out their address. They will say "near 94th and 113th streets, message me when you get close and I will give you the building number"
Like wtf, do you want to sell this or not? Give me the friken address already. I promise not to sell your address to the Chinese. <plonk> (no offence to Chinese people, I love you guys/gals, especially the Chinese food)
