Does anyone understand what is behind these kinds of Facebook posts?

Maybe I have become overly suspicious and can't accept things online at face value, but I can't help thinking there is a hidden agenda behind these. I have no idea what it would be, however!

I'm talking about the posts that declare things like "there is no English word that begins and ends with P". Or, "there is no woman's name that begins with M and ends with T."

These "challenges" aren't really challenges at all, but I keep seeing them over and over again. They are not clickbait, in that there is no link to click on. They do not get you to reveal any data about yourself that would be helpful in identity theft. I find it hard to believe that the people posting these things are actually interested in word puzzles.

Perhaps they figure that whoever answers is gullible, and thus in their alt accounts they will send private messages to each respondent, hoping to eventually scam them.

Trying to get the video more engagement, get it higher in the algorithm, get more views, make more money

It’s like in some YouTube videos where it will be some AI slop garbage and one story is about cheese and it will say “tell us your favorite cheese in the comments!”

It’s the commodified and greed fueled version of “please listen carefully our menu options have changed”
