It’s a story. And there is a chat involved. A few of the people said things that appeared innocently suggesting I wasn’t ready for what some of the people in the group were aiming and I didn’t think much of it because I didn’t think it really mattered but I kept getting increasing feeling of vague or subtle hints touching on the same idea. These people aren’t even the group monitors so I think they a just people or a person who thinks a little too highly of theirself. And there was an incident with another person who is a very active group member And he wanted to go on a date but I didn’t agree to his terms. If they’re in the same clique. I’m afraid of being gossiped about. Oh And before that there was a nice lady I met who I felt comfortable enough to open up to and I didn’t agree with her point of view about dating. I’m disappointed she hasn’t reached out to me since. I made it obvious I wanted to be friends. Either she doesn’t like me or is just too busy for me.

I opened a Facebook account years ago, took a look around and left almost immediately. None of my RL friends and family had accounts, and I didn't find the place as friendly as other online forums.

@Dshhh The most toxic aspect though is that some people try to hide behind an "Anonymity" that doesn't really exist on FB.
Well like on most forums we have no clue who we are really interacting with but on there we do.
YET some people still talk smack on FB, quickly forgetting they will likely have to interact in real life.
