You know mothers lay on their babies all the time and kill them accidentally
They not only have that one baby to care for but they were caring for three other children…
Now this is being massively shared on Facebook and people are trashing these two folks and I can’t help but feel bad for them
Do you really think they intentionally killed that baby? Do you REALLY think they deserve prison for accidentally killing that woman’s baby?
It’s sick. Of course the judge didn’t grant her any jail time she didn’t fucking deserve it
That’s the risk you take when you leave your kids with others. And to sit there and slam these women and call them monsters and baby killers
Maybe if you saw that the two women were already taking care of three other kids that your child obviously wouldn’t be priority
That was the risk you took when you left your child there knowing the situation and you did it anyway
Now you have public ally humiliated and shamed and ruined the lives and reputation of these women because you’re mad about your baby passing away which I understand but that is misdirected anger and those women don’t deserve this treatment.
As if they don’t feel bad enough you have all of the people from your town calling you a monster and a baby killer

The first statement you made is not true. I have been around the sun more than 65 times and I am the father of 6 children myself and the grandfather to 6 more. I have never heard of a mother lying on her baby and killing it except in maternral lore. Yes moms often sleep with their newborns quite often while they nurse. but virtually never to they accidentally lie on their babies and kill them. Animals such as pigs do that but very very very rarely humans do that. The baby is simply too large for the mom to not feel it. The baby may die from something called SIDS but almost never crushing by mom.
I think it happens less and less because we as a society or more educated about SIDS and the fact that we aren’t supposed to be sleeping with infants for this reason
