Blocking people on FB

So a year or so ago, I blocked and/or unfriended most of my family on Facebook. My dad actually found out and was kind of offended, but he got over it. My mom’s side of the family didn’t really seem to care all that much. Anyway, it’s not that I don’t love my family, it’s just that I’m a very private person, and when I comment on a meme or public post, they’d always bring it up. Before, I just had them on my “restricted” list, which was good enough, or so I thought, but when RSVPing to a public event or commenting on a public post, that’s when they’d see it. All of my “friends only” posts that I made would be hidden.

Anyway, I still have one of my dad’s friends as a “restricted” friend, and apparently my dad has been using him as a way to kind of spy on me, if that’s the right word. I commented on a public post, my dad’s friend saw and “liked” it, and then a few days ago, my dad told me that his friend told him about it. Now he wants me to tell him what I said, and I couldn’t even remember at that point. So now I’m thinking of blocking this friend too so that this won’t happen again. Problem is that I don’t want him or my dad to find out, which would offend my dad again.

Is there a way to block him from seeing my public posts/comments/event RSVPs without him being able to find out? I just like to keep my friendships and my family relationships separate, if that makes sense…I’m just a very private person who doesn’t like drama.
