Pretty sure this is a sign Facebook/Meta is getting desperate for growth

"Facebook is testing a way for users to have up to five separate profiles tied to a single account. The social media giant says the test allows users to dedicate different profiles to specific groups they want to connect with, such as one dedicated Facebook feed exclusive to their friends and another one just for their coworkers."

There's already privacy controls, and having multiple profiles/feeds sounds like it's going to use up way more resources to track compared to the system they have now. I think the only reason they would do this is because other social platforms are bringing in new users so they are getting forced to yield to user feedback
