There was this strange man on Facebook and his daughter that offered to give me my own online boutique and said I wouldn't have to pay them anything

in return. I told him the whole thing seemed like a scam and he got upset and said how dare you call me a scammer and he and his daughter blocked me. They were scammers, right?

IDK, but it sure seems suspicious.

This may have been a scam related to any of these:

● not actually free--no formal price, but:
- set-up/transfer/other fee(s);
- an ongoing fee to use the site;
‐ a percentage of your GROSS earnings (thus, you must pay it even if you are not making money);
- a loan for purchasing it.

Any of those could be you incorporated into paperwork which you could be asked to sign.

● actually free, but sill a scam--their site/software
- steals the account info for where you put your earnings (to get the money & your savings that way)
- steals the account info for your payment proccessor (to get the money more directly);
- steals customer cc info in order to charge other items until each credit card is "max'd-out";
- gets other personal info (your SSN, DOB, etc.)...

Don't feel bad about saying NO to something unbelievably good.
