Is this the right thing to do for a college on social media? [I Use Facebook]

Hi! I use Facebook. One week ago, I was using my college/uni’s FB page and liking their posts, the usual. I made comments here and there, enjoying my time using the page and getting to know more about my future school (because I’m graduating these weeks, finally going into college and leaving high school and my whole PreK-12th grade years behind.)

For some reason, I’m blocked by my own future school which is extremely odd because last comment I left was complimenting a student, in particular, a male student who is in his 20s. I put my thoughts out there saying he is a handsome young man. And I complimented him further saying “any young woman (basically his future girlfriend) is lucky to have him”.

Today I noticed I’m blocked—I don’t know how long I was blocked.......which is weird. I’m turning 19 this year. I’m around his age. I complimented him & the young female student. I’m also a young female student. Is this bizarre? What happened? I can’t tell people they are attractive anymore? I enjoy complimenting people. It’s my daily thing. I’m lost.

Update: The stranger thing about the college is that recently, there is a post of them both and they looked very serious, stern. They didn’t look happy at all. Did I make them feel uncomfortable? I’m very sorry to both of them.
😔

Update: I’m insecure about myself. I really thought the guy was cute. I wanted to be the young female student in the picture, and I’m afraid the college student man is too old for me even though we might be 3-5 years in age gap.
I’m going to be 19 years old, and he looks 22-25 years old.

Thanks for reading and replying.

That is strange indeed. I suppose the university has really strict regulations. I'm sorry that happened to you :(

@SolGryn No worries but thank you. 😓

I’ll stick to hearting and liking posts from now on.

@MangoMegalodon it shouldn't be that way but that might be the best option
