I miss experience project 😭

I miss experience project with all my heart, I was like 14, scrolling through random shit, some inappropriate shit, but mostly wacky shit like astral projection, alien encounters, space, astrology, myths and legends, I loveedd it, so sad to see it fade away into nothingness,💔 memories live on.
Sure there were more users, which has become even more relevant since they broke the feed, but there was weird shit then like there is now. The fact we were all younger is a factor, as is the fading affect bias

Yeah EP was nice for the most part but there was a very dark side to it and for that I’m glad it shut down.
Hikikomoribabe99 · 22-25, F
@deadteddy explain because I didn't see much of the dark stuff, but I knew it existed, some stuff was poorly moderated that I know

I usually find that there's still enough garbage on this site to make life while not worthwhile sort of interesting.

I remember when answerbag was going off on another area and they finally shut it down it was kind of fun to disagree with the Mormons on that site

It could be a fun, interesting place, but it had a lot of problems too.

One of my biggest gripes about EP was the power trolls had there. They could simply flag TOS-compliant posts and profiles and get them removed. No proof of wrongdoing by the poster/accountholder was required. On this site, you at least have to provide links to supposedly objectionable posts/profiles when reporting something or someone.
@Rutterman I can't speak for EP, but everything you just listed happens here. And it's been a long time since I've seen any moderation, but I've also stopped reporting. I learned block, rinse and repeat instead, waiting on if the report was considered valid became pointless. It's just better you find people you mesh with

That's just not true. You have to provide evidence of TOS violations when you report something here. That wasn't the case on EP. People there could simply flag posts and they'd get taken down. Trolls took full advantage of the situation, resulting in the removal of perfectly acceptable posts. I haven't seen anything like that happening here.

The SW admins have always gotten back to me when I've reported something (which I don't do very often), but it does sometimes take them longer than I'd like. I nevertheless prefer this to the rapid, indiscriminate takedown of posts, as happened on EP.
@Rutterman Well, you can tell me my experience all you want.. I don't have a comparison, and when I spoke about reports, it's they don't respond as much recently... but thank you for downplaying my words.
I miss having a feed that works. Most of the time mine is four or five day old posts
melissa001 · 51-55, F
@SooperSarah mine are 6 day old posts. And I only see about 15 people posts.
@melissa001 exactly! They call that an improvement
EP is long gone folks yall gotta move on
Hikikomoribabe99 · 22-25, F
@Hikikomoribabe99 just have to make it work on another site EP is gone for good so just have to try to enjoy it here
Hikikomoribabe99 · 22-25, F
@ExperienceDLT I'm on here and Reddit but I don't post on Reddit, as literally everything has been said, I like sm because it's a shadow of EP, it's not as judgey and huge in traffic like Reddit, but that's why I like it, wish I treasured EP more, it's a bit like vine, was the thing at the time then when it went away, I missed it with all my heart too, simpler days, talking about aliens online, watching funny 10 sec video on vine, as to the wasteland social media and forums are today🤷‍♀️😩

I forgot about some of that stuff! Man, EP was even better than I remembered!
InHeaven · F
Ya, its all gone. I agree. Sad
I definitely preferred EP to what we have here in SW , but this is what we have now

Death to SW
All of us EP'ers miss it as well, despite the perverted groups we did make a community much like family.
