I'm a grumpy cat but don't really like it so far. It's lot smaller, from what I can see mostly same faces have been talking here for months continuing and forming cliques from EP. I've been here couple weeks, and I'm already getting hate-mail, people I've never talked with who have me blocked, and the Spanish Inquisition who will have your head for asking about features, lol. A LOT more sexual talk for the sake of talking, no responses to deep questions with thoughtful responses usually going unacknowledged, and few if any actual experience stories. However, of course as usual, you experience will depend largely on what you're looking for, and let's face it, the old EP (including the ones before the end) is gone.

I appreciate the honesty. I'll have to see for myself, but EP got a lot like that as its death approached. One of the main things I had a problem with was the rejection of intellectual / legitimate questions about things that matter -

Well to each their own I'd say, I also forgot to add it's new so let's give them time. But frankly, if the userbase grows, the problems will also multiply by at least as much, part of it is natural evolution of any online community, and I see no evidence of intentionally directing that evolution. Main thing is it's the only EP-like site right now, though with the apparent preference to one-liners, I'll have to think how it's different from a more adult-content oriented Twitter on technical front.

Yeah, I'm sure things will improve with enough time (I hope). Based on what another person mentioned on here, the developers have taken initiative to prevent creeps and weirdos from creeping on people that don't want that kind of attention. Efforts to prevent harassment and spam seem to be a positive change -

You could just block people, or simply not read/respond, so I don't see how that's a real change. Besides of which, women are constantly posting images of their mailbox with hundreds of unread messages. So yeah, about that... Being able to kinda choose when you see pictures is nice though, but it's not a make or break, and I wish they had the fuzzy view as option for posts too. But not much point talking on this, just try it out for yourself and see if it's to your liking, and try to change things if it's not.
