I came across a post about importing EP. I have my zip file. Ive had it since 2017. I know there is some good stuff in there and im thinking about importing.....

But I dont know if im the same me. I fear that when inopen the zip and see myself from 13 years ago im going to be hugely dissapointed in who i was.

Anybody else out there feel the same way?

I wish I could have exported all of my EP stuff. I only could bring back 200 poems. The rest of the decade of creations-much more than here- never exported. I could have used them in a book. It was an accurate story of my growth and evolvement.

@PoetryNEmotion i had a plan back then to leave my log in info in my will. My family could have seen a completely different person
@Firegod74 @Firegod74 Interesting way to preserve it. Why were you a completely different person?

@PoetryNEmotion ep was a more comforting place than the real world. It allowed me to be outgoing in ways that i never am in real life. I also predominately surfed EP at work. At that time i was working 17 hour days for weeks on end doing nothing really. The few waking hours at home were dealing with acreage troubles. Frozen water, lawn care etc.
In a way work was actually my time off if that makes sense. And EP was my entire social life for probably 3 years.

I dont work there anymore. The new job balances work and home way better. (I say as i just putbin another 14 hour shift)...
@Firegod74 Fourteen hours is criminal. I feel 12 hours is too. Can you lessen those hours?

EP sure had its glory days! You know this too. What connections and content and, overall, a better atmosphere. I find being on SW is easy from my workplace. I have a lot of freedom. EP helped me in so many ways. And my inner circle came here with me, mostly. It makes sense to me what you said. Tell me are you more social now based upon your EP experience? Did it make it easier now?

@PoetryNEmotion ive always been social. Its just that there were a few years (2005-2012) where Ibwas in highbdemand and work took over everything. Including living in 4 towns and 5 different houses. It was too much, but i knew it wasnt going to last forever. And to be honest, to have a run like that where i could really feel like i was one of the best at what i was doing nation wide was quite the power trip.
@Firegod74 You live your life. It should be what pleases you.
