I Found Experience Project By Accident

Ha Ha, I was the one who created this group back on EP.

Those are my words to the right, and that's the graphic of the Heisenberg Equation I used to have. How weird for it to be the first thing that pops up after I find out about SW.

Ok, so, I've been told there is a way to get back my old EP account as an SW account. Or at least there used to be. Does anyone know anything about that?

None of my groups made the cut

@AutumnLady1980 OMG yes. In 08 or 09.
What does that mean though? Did they back up groups created after a specific year?
AutumnLady1980 · 41-45, F
@assemblingaknob No, they did it (so they claim) according to the number of users. I made my comment because I noticed your age (26-30), and reasoned 2008 would have been when you were around the age (14-18) when someone would have made a group like that.

@AutumnLady1980 🤭 😁

That's cool :) I'm unaware of the accounts being "transferred" from EP or anything like that... I remember EP gave the option to save all our post and then we downloaded them as as ZIP fle, but I believe that just for us to keep our posts so they wouldn't vanish forever... I believe all accounts here had to be created from scratch as "new" accounts...
AutumnLady1980 · 41-45, F
@drymer I've been reading since I wrote what I wrote above. Looks like, if you downloaded the .zip from EP, then you can upload it to your new account here - but (here's the rub) - you have to be a VIP member here to do it.

Unfortunately, I don't have access to the HD I put the zip on - or even remember if I downloaded it. I wish there was still a server I could get it from.

If who ever runs SW reads this:

If ya'll have a snap-shot of EP from when it was still up, I'd be happy to host it so people in my possition could download there .zip's.

Was that you name on ep? I've always been this name.. we definitely made some crazy groups back in the day :)
AutumnLady1980 · 41-45, F
@Coppercoil Same as on here AutumnLady1980.

And yeah, I actually "Me Too" some groups I was in on EP while I was joining that aren't true about me anymore. My plan had been to go back though the one's that aren't true of me now (vs. back in the EP days) and either join or create "I used to"/"I did"/"I was"/"I once"/"I no longer (like I used to)" versions along with posting some insight into how/why it's changed ....

.... only to find they don't seem to have a create a group function. And the only such group already existant are going to be ones which existed on EP: when my point was kinda along the theme of "EP days vs. now". sorta comparison like.

@AutumnLady1980 yeah you're right..what we made in ep is what we have now. So you'll have to be creative.. but I'm sure you'll find a work around. Lots has changed.. people are different.. it's its own strange thing.

I look forward to reading what you come up with or what you analyze, whether yourself and how you changed or how the site has changed.

Welcome back.Am an ex ep user too.What took you so long to find this place ? Hope you like it here.
AutumnLady1980 · 41-45, F
@moonlighting I'd seen it before but didn't think it had anything to do with EP. Thought it was just another "clone that's gonna fail". Someone on Discord to me about it and said it actually was EP but under a new name. He led me to believe my old account would work but I found out this was incorrect.

Welcome to the next chapter... lol really u did?
AutumnLady1980 · 41-45, F
@Leftyss Yes, that's how I remember it anyways. I remember having the image of that equation, and using the image elsewhere.
