Does anyone know why Experience Project shut down?

It shut down on the 21st April, 2016 by the US Government for non compliance on many aspects, I miss the site it was great fun and I was on it for 5 years.

@luvvyowl: I really can't speak to the language of the laws, but sw put things in like blocking the age of minors on accounts ... I don't know exactly how it works, but there is rumors or a lawsuit against ep ... I don't know if that is true, but I know they were having a problem especially with under age women being harrassed.

They didn't have the manpower to ensure members are not being harassed, spammed or trolled. They failed to implement their own TOS by allowing perverts posting porn ect. And i guess they are occupied with subonas.

We seems to have put in place different features ment to help. So much of it us up to the interpritation of the laws in existence. We will see ....
