Why do people tend to sexualize this site?

Since I have made this about 2 weeks ago I have noticed that people sexualize it. Isn't this site suppose to be more modest like experience project? It bothers me that there are children on this site (whom I am very protective of), or ppl who come on here to express themselves, yet, people tend to misuse the intent on why this site was created in the first place.

The site is a microcosm of what happens in the real world.

People are interested in sex, so talk about sex, and any adult themed topics or nudity are (theoretically) unviewable by minors, as long as they have not lied about their age to circumvent the system.

If it makes you uncomfortable you can block a majority of content that you do not wish to see.

@Quizzical Oh really how to I block content like that? Great to know that children are not able to see things even though I know they know about it I do not like them being exposed to such things as they are more vulnerable to predators.

@JaneCas Well, you'll find that even those of us who are more sexually orientated always have an eye out for any infringements of the rules, especially if it may concern minors.

If you go into your settings you should see a whole host of check boxes to reduce the more 'adult' content on the site.
