I Want to Improve the Experience Project

The blog feature is on death row, and will be executed in a few hours. My blog had nearly 450 posts, going back to January 2010, and may have been one of the largest blogs in all of EP. My blog was huge because I used it mainly to store a copy of some of my longer comments left all over the internet.

EP blogs lacked keyword capability, but otherwise worked well. There was one quirk: if a post included a link, the post could be seen only by friends. I eventually discovered a workaround.

Several weeks ago, EP sent me an Excel spreadsheet containing my 450-odd posts. A lot of formatting was lost. I am not sure if I will ever undertake the formatting and other work needed to upload those posts to my unused Google blog.

conceptualclarity

This is very, very sad. As I've gone through my blog to recover all the comments as well as the stories, I've realized that my blog was quite important for me, that a lot of people used it to get to know about me.

Consa, your blog will be a big, big loss to EP. I will miss it. I will miss your comments on my blog.

This is inflicting a lot of pain on a lot of members.
