Place Stuff Where It Belongs... Okay I am still trying to get used to the new profile thing, do hicky, whatcha ma call it...

However now that I am seeing gestures showing up on my white board, why? I have a gestures icon and I can click on it to see the circle gestures or individual gestures that I get. Not sure why they need to be on my white board.

In my thoughts - Which of course aren't the masters of EP thoughts - The white board is just that a white board. Place that if you had in your place at work that someone could write you a quick note in passing. Not for your gestures or gifts to be placed on. The negates the point of having a gestures or gifts section even.

Unless you are planning to get rid of those sections one early monday morning an we all just find out out about it when we log on one day.

The point of this is to keep the things in the locations where they are... gestures in a gesture area same with gifts. White boards in a whiteboard. I mean you set this up, doesn't mean you can mix it.

But hey what do I know I am just a user of the site, not the maker...

The whiteboard is still very much a work in progress. We are working to clean it up and make it easier to get the information you're looking for quickly.

With so many ways to publicly show your appreciating for your friends and other members of EP, via gifts, whiteboard scribbles, gestures, and more--it's no wonder that some members have often express feeling overwhelmed--when they have to page through various sections of their profile finding what's new--That's why we consolidating these various section all in one place so members can quickly glance at their whiteboard and see new scribbles, gifts, and gestures all on one page, without having to click through sections.

Now it's not perfect yet, and we know we still have a lot of work to do, to simplify the whiteboard. In the meantime you can still access all your gestures and gifts by visiting those specific sections.

The idea is to make managing and viewing all your member communications easier. For example, soon you'll have the option to group gifts, gestures, and scribbler together by member! So, if your friend writes a whiteboard scribble wishing you a 'happy birthday' and then gestures you with a 'hug' and gifts you a bouquet of flowers, you'll see their thoughtful intent without having to page between various sections of your profile. It also insures that you won't miss out all the great things your friends are sending your way.

Think a lot of things on this site are a work in progress. From the PM/mailbox to being able to search for your own story, these are items I have mentioned in previous stories here in this group, know you all are working hard to improve it so it is just patience.
