I have been a wreck since Friday. The bus crash at Humbolt is hitting me hard. I know it's tragic, and that 15 people losing their lives is bad, but... well you see, I take death very well. I shed few tears when mom died, or when my brother died, so why is this so tough?
Is it because my families deaths were predictable? One drank, the other smoked. Is it because this was so sudden? Or because my son plays hockey and I've rode those busses?
I can not read an article, or watch a sports segment on it without tearing up. I can't talk about it without losing the ability to speak.
I've noticed this a lot lately. Distant incidents affecting more than personal ones. I wonder why?

@Firegod74 how are you doing now? Could be you’re under a lot of stress so events are having a greater impact?

I actually think these are small tremors due to 40 years of pent up emotions if that makes sense.
