I Love the Experience Project

Hello fellow former EPers!

I did love the Experience Project! I was there for a decent amount of time. It had its blemishes, but I think a lot of good things do.

I won't ramble on about how I want to connect with people here. I already have a post about that under "I am new to Similar Worlds."

I will say that I met a lot of great people on EP, and hope to meet with and connect with some great people here.

Thanks in advance for your welcome, and please don't be afraid to say hi!

Cheers!

Randall

do you roleplay...? sorry for the random question

@AmaraLancastor No problem! It's not a bad question. What do you mean when you say "roleplay", though?
AmaraLancastor · 26-30
if you mean the perverted and rather unsavory meaning then i would rather die.

the kind i mean are the ones people make that are like stories, they create a character for said roleplay then they go through events and what not....think of it as a book being made as your character progresses...if you want examples check out rpnation.com

@AmaraLancastor Okay, I understand. Sexual roleplay has a place, but it's not what I'm after here. Just had to check, so we didn't get our wires crossed.

I've never done live action roleplay, but I'm not a very physical entity, so I really haven't had a desire to explore it.

I've played games like Pathfinder, but I find that my ability to roleplay is extremely constrained in that atmosphere, both by my own abilities, and also the literal setting: it's hard for me to feel immersed in the idda that I'm exploring a far away land when I'm being tormented by my brother's cat and I can hear gansta rap from the apartment next door.

I find that I'm most comfortable with MUDs, but I've cut back on my roleplaying drastically, since it's difficult to find good ones, and I've got other things going on.

Thanks for the question! It's not often I meet folks outside of my immediate orbit who would ask such a thing. I hope I satisfied your curiosity, but if not, feel free to chat with me.

Cheers!

and forgive me for seeming too energetic. insomnia can do a number on me. and i feel ashamed of it really....because of how bad it is for me to the point i ask people absurd questions...
