To me it's not very important.

If you don't enjoy any of your time here then I can see why you'd rather not log on.

I have friends from EP days and it helps me blow of steam.

I was blocked by a certain older popular person here whom I was friends with since EP.

I've learned not to take anyone seriously here. Saves a lot of hurt feelings.

I've been blocked by people I liked & it still happens sometimes. I try not to take offense. I still sometimes see people talking smack about me to other users & they're always people I never interact with, so I don't take it personal. Sometimes it's annoying when people have the wrong idea about you but you just gotta remind yourself that they don't really know you so their opinions don't matter anyway.

BTW, I do not know if this had anything to do with it but in my observation, one big reason people block is over political differences.

Of course there are tons of other reasons, some people are just heavy on that button.

Unfortunately it’s the nature of the beast. Gotta weigh out if overall SW is more beneficial or detrimental to your mental, emotional and even physical health.

het I forgot - one thing some people to to read stuff they are normally blocked from - set up an alt account.

If you do that, try not to post much from it as to not give someone a reason to block. I never post from my alt, only read.

I'm not sure that I would be shocked by anyone blocking me. Surprised, but not shocked.
