We have recently released a few changes to the system that will take some extra measures to prevent contact between users if the system believes it's the best to reduce harassment and block circumvention on SW.

Having several alt accounts increases the risk of these auto-blocks from happening, too.

Generally, following our Terms of Service and Acceptable Behavior Guidelines will reduce the chances of being prevented from contacting/seeing other users, to almost zero.

When I rejoined the same thing happened to me.
Like sooo many people.
Who didn't even know me cause I had only been there like 2 days.
Then weirdly they got unblocked and was able to see them

Same here too, couldn't find dsandman99's account and found out I'm blocked, never did anything wrong here.

There is no real rhyme nor reason as to what happens on here and why.

The main reason people might block is if they got into an argument, obviously. BUT, there are at least a dozen other reasons.

Maybe they blocked a demograph.
Maybe some political post.
Maybe they are trying to hide their online activity from a real life partner. (people seldom think of that one)

And now apparently some algorithm is deciding who can contact who based on who "might" butt heads.

Honestly you just cannot take it personal UNLESS you know or have an idea of what happened.

blocking is overutilized and its not like you disappear either as we have to see remnants of you. consider not allowing alts. 🙏
