Blocked without a reason given?

If you have been here long enough, you will likely be blocked by someone you have often chatted with for no apparent reason. Even a simple "How are you?" message can do it. For the first in a long time, this happened to me again today. It's never fun for the fan of fun.

My only advice is that if you want to block someone, at least give a reason first. Even an "I don't wanna chat with you anymore" would suffice. IOW, be an adult about it.

I’ve blocked people because they spoke about their eating disorder and seeing their posts just triggered me and ruined my own recovery. Anyway, I think my point is, that it happens for many reasons. You just have to accept it and move on.

@666Maggotz So you were or were not chatting with them regularly? I realized long ago that blocking happens for many reasons yet no reason given is still not right.

One I had on my friends list and I responded to her posts every so often. Others I randomly seen and decided their posts are bad for my health. @funfan

People are weird or strange at the very least. I have long ago come to that conclusion.

I yet to block or mute anyone, yet having kept a count of my own, I have a list of 251 people I know of that have blocked me.

The reasons are many though. At the start of that list years ago is a user that blocked me for not liking every post she made. Others are simply because of my age. A good majority on that list is because of politics or religion.

I have known some that have blocked me because they have considered me annoying without even bothering to reply.

The reasons though are infinite because those on that list are only the ones I know about. I add to that list at least monthly. 😆

I'm really not prepared to do that, especially if I have a clear disagreement that the other party turns personal. I wasn't born to take shit from people, so there's only one way that's gonna go! Blocking IS the statement, and many times, it proves that some people here cast no shadow.
