I got blocked!

I was deleting archived conversations and ran across one that indicated I was blocked which made me chuckle. This person was the one that contacted me. Told me their life story, how tough life is, etc. I explained that I had similar past. We spoke back and forth and one day they said they didn't like to chat much. Then I noticed several negative posts about various topics. I didn't interact much because I didn't know if they wanted friendship or not. Nor did I want to argue with their point of view. They definitely had opinions. Today I discovered, I guess not on the friendship. The funny part is that my feeds are much more positive now. I'm winning! 😆

A lot of times I’ll look at previous posts, see that someone who replied, with whom I thought I got along, has blocked me. I can still see their reply, but their avi is obscured. Occasionally I’m puzzled and a bit sad. But the bottom line is, they saw something in my posts that they believed incompatible with a friendship. I try to be authentic here, so que sera, sera. 🥺

@bijouxbroussard And this story is beaten like a dead horse on here now... I don't know why blocking became so popular, though I make good use of it, and sadly sometimes I think it's from how fragile online friendships are...
