Every few years I will go on a certain state’s online prison records and see if one particular bully from my childhood is still alive.

There was a harrible bully at my school. He did terrible things to not only the other students, but random members of the public. His family gave him a good home and were nice people who he never said a bad thing about. He got a girl pregnant at 13, stole cars, showed up at school drunk and smoked weed. He got kicked out of school at 14 and got a labouring job. By the time he was 19 he'd been in juvenile remand centres and prison and beat his pregnant girlfriend up. He then stole a gun and killed himself. Many said it was for the best. I remember thinking, how can such a bad person die without trying to do some good in their life before.
