how to respond to this online interaction on youtube
on youtube, on a channel i'm subscribed to about ' british patriotism' because i am one, i replied to this woman called Elaine who's comment i didn't like, because i didn't like a word she used to comment to the video uploader, she commented ' bigupp to you ' and i pointed out to her that 'real' britons wouldn't use that word, making it clear i didn't think she is a ' true briton' i also gave her a thumbs down symbol 👎🏻 which she well deserved in my opinion.
but all she could respond with was with a laughing emoji face with tears coming from it's eyes like this>> 🤣
and i felt really angered by that as i was being serious and thought she was mocking me, but also annoyed at ' is that all she can come back with? ' and not properly justify her comment or ' wording?'
i think i was just looking for an argument to be honest, but felt stuck when she used the laughing emoji face, because i thought if i then go back and respond with something like an angry reply, it's me who can get in trouble? so what do you do in that situation?? she i just leave it because i made my point clear and direct? and not feel the need to engage her further?
