how should you deal with some woman online when you don't like what she insinuated

i was interacting with some woman online just recently, and i didn't like what she insinuated about me because it wasn't true, how should you respond to an interaction where someone does that??

my problem is i get really angry and feel really aggressive, but know that is not the right way to deal with people who offend you.

You politely explain why she's wrong. If that doesn't work, you accept that you can't control other people, and you move on with your life.
