If someone lists their location as being out of the U.S. then I am sensitive to that and I give more detail.
If they list it as being in the U.S. then my expectation is they know the state abbreviations common in the U.S. ...if they dont then its a red flag to me they are really from out of the country and just pretending.
If they do not list their country then I could say the same thing....How am I supposed to know?

@PHlover19701 It is important that people from other nation understand what is happening in America. America has been the global superpower for half a century. A Military, industrial and financial role model for the work. And an exporter of culture and influence way beyond its reach. However, there are 8 billion other people out there who dont have all the information Americans take for granted. I have been to America a few times. But never set foot in a walmart or an IHOP. (international House of Pancakes for the non Americans) So please add some supporting information ..😷

@whowasthatmaskedman Didnt miss much not visitihg Walmart or an iHop. Maybe people need to add their location to their profile so people dont have to assume.

@PHlover19701 I get it.. I did manage a lot. But these are experiences the avarage American has in muscle memory. And I wanted them as part of my understanding. Like a Vegas buffet or a trip to CVS or Walgreens.😷

@PHlover19701 not a site option. And even country of origin is optional in profiles.
Even users from foreign countries don't say anything.
It's not just the USA thing.

@PHlover19701 See my comment as well. Yet it's not just a USA thing.
