Why Americans are like this? Hi I am Bob I live in AZ, I am supposed to know what the heck is AZ ?

They don't tell the name of the country, they just tell you the state they live in, it's even worse when they give you two letters, hi I am Kevin I from NY, what is NY??

I'll never understand why they went to a 2 letter system for states. It forces ambiguity between all those states beginning with 'M'
