when somebody online doesn't respond or acknowledge to information you tell them, how should you react

i was on a british history video recently and got into a conversation with someone on the subject, and i mentioned i was white english and he never acknowledged it or responded? and i felt a bit annoyed, because that says to me that he doesn't believe me or doubts me.

how should you respond to a situation like that?

maybe he didnt understand you. what is white english? i often do that, if i dont know what someone is talking about i sometimes phase out rather than ask for clarification if im not that interested. if you want to pique their interest you may need to prod them for an answer or offer to clarity yourself.
