what should you do when you don't like 'words' someone uses online

should you block them or ignore them? like earlier i found it annoying when someone answered my post and commented ' believe me' in their comments to my post, and i instantly very annoyed because i don't like that phrase or those words and would of rather he not use them.

so how do you respond to that?
