how should you react if you try to be nice to someone and they don't respond or acknowledge it

online i mean, you leave someone a 'nice' comment and they just ignore it and not respond? not acknowledging it.

Nobody knows you personally online .To expect a nice reply just because you’re nice is overrated .Just move on
