How to discuss things online
Did it turn out the person you disagree with actually isn't a troll and instead s well educated on the topic and can speak at length on it? Call it a 'word salad'.
Everyone you disagree with is stupid. They are all trolls, by default.
Additionally, you can turn what they said to make them a bad person in some way, not just making it acceptable to treat them rudely, but a moral necessity.
Anyone who expresses a different opinion to you is triggered. They are either incredibly angry or upset and you are always the epitome of stoic. Make sure you invoke that imagery in the discussion. Even if it's only you invoking such emotions, the other person is triggered just by nature of disagreeing with you.
Has someone else's intelligence or productivity made them wealthier or more successful than you, so perhaps their opinion may be worth listening to? Don't worry, they got that success because they are greedy or due to some other moral defect.
Is this person an expert in a field that you are unqualified in, yet due to your ignorance your entire argument is an arguement from authority, majority and consensus? That's okay, '99% of experts' refers to 99% of the experts who you choose to listen to for ideological reasons, those who disagree with you you can just ignore and leave out of that statistic.
Hide your opinions and actions behind the idea that you are defending some group or fighting some injustice, so that when someone more educated than you disagrees with something you do/say, you can dismiss them as encouraging said injustice. And everything you do is right by default and everyone who wants to help the cause you talk about just has to agree with everything you do. No hurt to your ego.
Presenting some skill or talent you are developing but don't want to put in the work to gradually improve? Any criticism, no matter how genuine and constructive, actually comes from 'haters', bad people who because they are bad their opinion you can ignore. You just stay who you are, don't go through any reflection and development.
And lastly, if you are fighting some social justice cause, make sure you are committing the very moral injustice you claim to fight.
