struggling to think of clever comebacks

to people who say things you don't like or agree with? often my mind goes blank and i feel instantly annoyed and can't think of clever replies back at that person, which i find frustrating....so i sit there and get really worked up....and mostly end up blocking the person.

Dont feel bad.. A lot of folks do that. They forget that the option of walking away and coming back later exists. This isnt instantaneous communications..Phone a friend.. Use google to research and fact check. You might actually learn more in the process.😷

Maybe try having different conversations, we’re witty comebacks are not required.

You could be someone’s friend rather than an antagonist.

My idea of a clever comeback is "Your mom wears combat boots." But if I can think about it for a while I can usually come up with something.

Calm down first, then reply.
@Kuronekko Calm down > decide IF you're responding > trim it down > stop caring

"No U"
"Your face is my counterargument"
