Never ever got up for meaningless people. I'm always exhausted by 10. If i stay till 2.00 for you, you're blind if you can't see it..the older we get, the harder for us to fall asleep.. so sleep is precious lmao

He might've woken up for another reason and decided to respond to the text. He could just be polite.

More context is needed but I would say that if you're a friend and text frequently it is likely that person would mute the notifications so they can sleep but if they did not mute the notifications for that woman that does say something..
I can say I've had female friends that would tend to text while I'm asleep and they get muted because they're friends. I'll respond when I wake up.

But texting can just happen anytime of the day and people do sleep anytime of the day providing they don't have work.
So the time of texting and time of response doesn’t have any bearing on whether you have interest in someone or not.
But the better question, does the female texter see the guy he's texting as a mere friend or she has feelings for him?

This is where boundaries are important. Everyone that knows me, knows not to text or call after 10:00 p.m. unless it's a good emergency. I give them the same courtesy at whatever time they like.
Creolequeen · 31-35, F
@Elisbch agreed
Ontheroad · M
It could go either way... a friend might do that just to be polite and someone who has feelings for the woman might be too sleepy to respond with anything but an "I'm sleeping".

I only text or zoom in bed with one person from this site. We are close friends. It depends upon the people involved. You already know how you feel.

Just friends! Well, depends on what was in her text...
Creolequeen · 31-35, F

Probably not quite awake text, so all bets are off as to the intent of said reply.
dumasme · 51-55, M
or, you could be just stating a fact and there's nothing more to it

pdockal · 56-60, M
Everybody is different so there's no right or wrong answer

Right now, those feelings may be sleepy anger.
