No. Our bodies eventually wear out, even with the best of care.

@bijouxbroussard So the theory goes
bijouxbroussard · F
@espoir I’ve witnessed it personally, and am experiencing it, too.
espoir · 36-40, F
@bijouxbroussard it's easy to give in to it. Either way our soul is immortal anyway
bijouxbroussard · F
@espoir Nothing about it is ”easy". Something you may understand later, when it’s your journey.
espoir · 36-40, F
@bijouxbroussard I believe that nothing is inevitable..just me
bijouxbroussard · F
@espoir Eventual deterioration and death still are, alas. The only question is how soon it happens, and that varies.
espoir · 36-40, F
@bijouxbroussard I can understand your beliefs, except that I have another theory on Dying. I believe we don't have to
bijouxbroussard · F
@espoir I don’t know how many deaths you’ve witnessed, if you’ve ever seen mortuary work or an autopsy…
If you haven’t, then death can indeed remain just a theory.
I’m not speaking about the spirit or the soul—that is the theory part. But what happens to the shell in which it previously resided is provable fact.

@bijouxbroussard yes, i've seen many dead bodies in my time. My theory is that we don't have to die in this body of ours
bijouxbroussard · F
@espoir So your theory is that our spirit goes elsewhere ?
espoir · 36-40, F
@bijouxbroussard no, my theory is that we can live forever in this body unless we don't believe in death hence our spirit goes to an immortal existence
bijouxbroussard · F
@espoir I see. Well, takes all kinds, I suppose.

@bijouxbroussard exactly
