@Vin53 Honestly, I don’t give it much thought. I’m not trying to date anyone, I’m not trying to scam anyone out of money, and if I were faking a profile I’d probably find a more alluring one than a 63 year old diabetic. So…

@Vin53 On some level yes. People have told me about having been catfished, and I believe them. You know how some people here say they like "roleplay" ? I think it’s the same mindset. When new posters come around talking about finding romance here, I warn them off. That’s not what many are about here—not seriously.
