no; I don't quite understand the obsession that people get over being blocked. at one time, I kinda got curious from time to time and then I realized that's a time eating trap to fall into. wait till you find the people who'll post something they vehemently disagree with/dislike just to act as 'bait' for people to comment on or like/react to in general and block people for that. there's all sorts of broken going on here. has been for a long time. I'd say the slow death is more from inexplicable changes to feeds and weird limits that get imposed in fairly arbitrary manners (e.g. I post a redbellied woodpecker, it gets tagged as 'adult, fetish, nudity', I can't change any of those auto tags, yet others load the feed with peeflaps in the middle of drain mode and post every day. it's exhausting to even think about.
