should i not block people who criticize me

i tend to block people if they are critical of me on here, but i was thinking should i not do that.... should i argue my point with them in the comments instead or just tolerate their written criticism?

If you’re asking a question you should expect alternative viewpoints. It’s on you if you take those personally.

If your expectation is 100% validation, there’s probably no reason for the question in the first place.
