I live in shared accommodation and someone who lives where I do likes vapour wave music. Should I be worrying?

I've been living here for a while now and I suspect he does the marijuana but mostly he does it in his room so that's ok I guess and to start of he used to listen to this 60s hippy song all the time (the one about some pills making you smaller, some making you bigger but the ones your mother gives you not being very good).

But now he listens only to a type of music that another house mate tells me is called "vapour wave".

I somehow find this music sinister and alarming even though it is sort of nice and chilled at the same time.

Is vapour wave something which is good or bad?
