What do you think of Texas trying to ban social media accounts for anyone under 18?

Why do all these places want to ban social media for people under whatever age?

I do not imagine that idea will go over well with the tech billionaires, I mean under 18 is probably half their users.

I am way over 18 so it doesn't affect me but if I were under 18, I would be p*ssed. It's like ANYthing kids enjoy, the govt wants to take it away.

Yeah, it's nothing more than "the old folks" trying to control the youth because "the old folks" fear free thinkers.

We all remember being kids and finding something entertaining and of course the school and govt were like, "OH NO NONE OF THAT!"

Could have been a computer game, a silly toy (like fidget spinners) or whatever.

I guess I just feel bad for the kids cause I remember being that age and the adults treating us like we were inmates or something.
