Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp down around the world

And the world is losing its collective shit.

We're seeing addicts go cold turkey. That's something to pay attention do. It speaks to the success of social media strategies. It's ALL about getting people 'hooked.'

But can you imagine what would happen when/if the entire power grid goes offline? Which is a realistic scenario?

Could be cannibalism in the street within days.

I'm not a member, but I just loaded a few facebook pages with no problem. To make sure the pages didn't come out of my local cache, I loaded a page I've never requested before on on a topic I frequently ridicule: astrology. All loaded OK.
