Unofficial chatbots roaming SW
I've been contacted by two chatbots already since i've joined this site, that im more than sure are programs, and there wasnt anything to indicate they were designed/sanctioned by the site.
The tell tale signs of bots are their bland greetings and their silence after you ask the question that would require human rationale to answer, aswell as their profiles which have no posts or original content or profile pics, despite having many replies on their interaction counter.
Id like to name n shame them but ill refrain.
My real question is why are they here and who put them here? The 1st thing that makes sense is that its part of some kind of test run for the programmers(sanctioned or not), and we are guinea pigs for the beta-phase of ai chatbot development.
