No. The internet used to be the Wild West. People used to flame each other viciously and no one got their feelings hurt. Coddling the sensitive people created the emotionally weak generation. That weakness must be contagious because it seems there are a lot of sensitive people in all generations now.

No, people just learned their limits after seeing other examples than they grew up with.
