Finding Communities on SW

I started posting here as a diary. It's nice to hear similar stories or receive a bit of encouragement. However, many folks here are just nasty and seem like outcasts to society. They use this space to start meaningless arguments or boast about their ego. I wonder if these people have a life, friends, or a significant other. Why do they spend so much time arguing or making rude comments to strangers?

Also, meeting people my age who are chill and open to staying in touch is nonexistent. I mostly see elderly people or those with odd fetishes. I like this website, but a lot of users here are just seem weird. I have to believe there's a clique of chill people here. Please hit me up.
