Is the Telegram messaging app a scam or a front for criminals or a ruse used by law enforcement to catch dark web operatives ?
I keep getting guys asking me to use it to 'chat'...

@SW-User someone once asked for a loan on ep when I got my first bank card 12 years back. Ep was original website, sw is its replacement.
Isn't that EVERY SM app? Telegram is more 'secure' than Signal, WhatsApp or others.

@eMortal I remember during Covid all the pro-covid and anti-covid zealots kept posting telegram links in facebook groups, etc. but I always ignored them

@SW-User it’s infested with russian, ukranian and russian hackers.
The app itself is legit, but it is used by a lot of scammers too.
