I hate my mom and my family
I'm sick of my family forcing me to hang out with them. I wish never had a family. I want to be alone.

Being sensitive to observing the people you're used to change their personalities, however slightly or legitimately can be unbearable for some of us. His family may be as normal as apple pie but them being insensitive about his sensitivities deserves his ingratitude.
They'll cry about him moving away but that's his next best option.
