An All-Too-Common Fix On Social Media

DrWatson · 70-79, M
There is no niche community online that is more of an elite niche than the SW group "I hate it when someone throws a walrus at my grandma."

So, I have arrived!

@DrWatson Well, wouldn't anyone oppose cruelty to large marine mammals? Oh, and grandmas?

The problems are not a "community" being niche. There are many that are politically, theologically and socially neutral and respectable, but are "niche" by highly specialist themes and interests.

Instead the problems are of those in controversial areas, excluding anyone who does not toe the line, and of their own followers blinding themselves to any but that line; allowing no discussion, questioning, thought or analysis.

The good old days, when nobody was an expert, NK didn't have nuclear bombs, and Russia and China were just hard working ants, not planet destroyers.
Oh my gosh! That computer reminds me of the dial-up sound.
