GirlsAskGuys staff keeps harassing and censoring me, so now I'm here instead
I actually signed up for this website a few months ago when the GaG staff were harassing me by taking down my questions and falsely accusing me of trolling and spamming, but now they're doing it again and don't seem to be stopping so now I'm here. I've actually been banned from many websites before, although if I'm gonna be honest, those were when I was an immature teenager (and also moderators of gaming forums tend to be toxic). IGN, GameSpot, GiantBomb, Escapist, Quora, and Acer (tech support) where I've been permabanned.
While I have received temporary site-wide bans or permanent sub-site bans across Twitter, GameFAQS, Reddit, LinkedIn, and Steam (forums). I used to have accounts for GameFAQS, StackExchange, and Yahoo Answers, but I've either closed them or forgot the login. Now some of you are probably wondering that given my track record, you might worry if I might be a nuisance and then end up getting banned here eventually. Well the answer depends on community guidelines, how the moderators are, and also what values the website admins have.
As long as this platform is more like Facebook where people of all demographics can discuss almost whatever they want, rather than an echo chamber like Quora where you can get in trouble for not being nice enough, then we're good. I won't go out of my way to harass anybody, but that doesn't mean I'm gonna allow myself to be harassed so keep that in mind and we'll all get along. I used to often engage in flame wars with trolls back in the day, but the last few years I've learned to just do these 3 things: block, report, ignore.
