So I don't want to hire someone to work on my wordpress website, but also I'd like to find someone who could assist me while working on it...

@elafina Smart :) I tried WP years ago and found it far too convoluted. The more personal and specific I tried to make it the more difficult, especially when trying to integrate non-WP pages and frames.

Hunting for a feature that someone else has created and trying to integrate it into what you already have seems to take far more effort than doing it yourself, and it's unlikely that you will find that perfect solution that someone else has done :)

Eventually settled on Quick 'n Easy Web Builder. It's a typical visual page builder type, but it's strength is the ease of integrating off premises pages within its frames and the ability to insert your own code into pages. So for people who know exactly what they want their web site to do, it's a winner.

@elafina that's an insane amount for so little work 😲 Maybe I should get into learning about WordPress to click maybe 20 buttons for only $150 😅

@NerdyPotato they offer free domain name too, so you'd better invest in a server. Seriously though..

@elafina domain names are only about $10 a year each and hosting maybe $100 for tens of average sites together.

I can't just offer standard maintenance though of course. For that kind of money, I'd also have to fix things on the off chance something goes wrong and learning how to do that is going to be quite the investment, and the responsibility is pretty big. ☹️

@justanothername details mostly. I've set up a WooCommerce by myself and am planning to find a plugin for printing on demand. But there're always things I'm missing, it feels like it, since I'm not so accustomed to programming logic, despite being able to navigate and do stuff.

@elafina coding has its own challenges but it’s also very rewarding to be able to do.
